Jerry Ranch Photo Auction

Proceeds go to the American Gothic House Center Iowa Cultural Trust Endowment Challenge Grant

About this work: This image was created by photographer Jerry Ranch (http://www.flickr.com/photos/ranchjp/) in 2010. It is taken from inside the American Gothic House and is a composite of 10 separate photographs. The print is the only one in existence (other than a smaller version the artist used for competitions) and the artist has confirmed that no others will be created. The work is hung in a simple black frame and measures 31 inches x 38 inches.

About this campaign: The American Gothic House Center has received an Iowa Cultural Trust Endowment Challenge Grant to assist in the creation of an endowment for the Center. The endowment establishment campaign is the beginning of an ongoing drive to ensure the long term sustainability of the American Gothic House Center. An endowment is a permanent resource which provides funding to expand during successful years and offers security in challenging times. Establishing an endowment is the responsibility of any prudent nonprofit organization, and with your support the American Gothic House Center can continue to attract visitors and provide education for many years to come. Funds raised in this campaign will be used to match the Iowa Cultural Trust Endowment Challenge Grant and will become endowment funds to support the Center's annual operations. All proceeds from this auction will be used towards the Iowa Cultural Trust Endowment Challenge Grant.

How to bid on this work: Bids can be made by phone, email, submission form below, or in person at the American Gothic House Center. The current bid will be updated at the end of each business day on this page and at the Center. Bidding will end at 5:00 pm on Friday, December 9th. Winner of the auction can pay by check, credit card, or Paypal account. Print can be picked up at the American Gothic House Center or shipped for an additional cost determined by shipping location.
