We are both teachers and the students call us Mr. and Mrs. B. We are Gary and Kathy Bergstrom from Griswold, Iowa. We teach at the Griswold Community Schools. I teach art K-5 and we study Grant Wood every year in third grade art. Thank you for a very nice day. Your museum is wonderful And the young lady who took our pictures was very very nice. Here's our American Gothic photo from last week! Jessi was kind enough to stay open a few minutes later for us (got a wee bit lost trying to find the house....lousy GPS!) and it was a highlight of our 2500 mile drive from MN to our home in NJ. We are urging all our friends to go to Eldon!

My husband and I traveled through Eldon to visit the American Gothic house/exhibit in early July. We took pictures with the outfits and would like to share our pictures. We noticed that there was a display on the wall that included pictures from people who took pictures in front of the house; however, we don't remember the name of the gentleman who was helping us, but he asked us to send the pictures. Could you please forward them on and please send our thanks for all of his help, he was very nice.
