I just stopeed here in the little town of Eldon in Southeast Iowa. They have the actual house used in the background of Grant Wood's American Gothic! You can dress up in costume as the stern couple with a pitchfork and they will help you take your own photo in front of the house. You should definately come and check it out next time you're in the area.
