 General Description: Rock Bluff Park is located on the west bank of the Des Moines River between Ottumwa and Chillicothe. Rock Bluff Road divides the park into two distinct areas. The West side of the road consists of undeveloped oak/hickory timber. East of the road are an upper and lower area located on the banks of the Des Moines River. The lower area has picnic tables and fire rings. This is an excellent area to bank fish or simply enjoy a leisurely time along the river shoreline.
Location: Midway between Chillicothe and Ottumwa on County Road H21 (Rock Bluff Road); Center Twp.
