General Description: This area is mostly open grassland planted to native prairie with a riparian buffer along the creek that runs through the property. In the middle of the area is a 5 acre fishing pond stalked with catfish, bluegill and bass. The pond is only a short hike from the parking. The parking lot is located on the east side of the area off Sycamore Road. The habitat on the area is suitable for upland game birds, deer and other wildlife that prefer a mix of grasslands and a grassland/brushy edge.
