Vermicomposting: Did you know we can use animals to make some of our daily trash into new soil. We will study these worms and explore how they make our leftovers into nutrient-rich soil.
Non-Renewable Earth: Using resources to make energy is a daily process for us. We will discuss differences between renewable and non-renewable resources, how these sources are used, what materials can be recycled and much more with the use of many daily products.
Endangered Animals: There are many animals which have become endangered since this area was settled. We will investigate these animals and how changes in habitat changed the lives of these animals.

Predatory Owls: Students will figure out what make owls such great predators and who they most often choose as prey.
