Water We Doing to Our Environment: With the help of the Enviroscape, we will explore watersheds, water pollution and techniques to protect our water from possible pollutants.

Nocturnal Animals: Nocturnal animals have many adaptations which make them great at surviving in the dark. We will use many animal parts and coverings to find out just how they do it.

Owls: How have owls survived for so many years? Various parts of the owl’s body are used to aid in survival. Students will learn about varied owls and what adaptations make them so successful.

Bird Adaptations: Through discussion and activities, students will explore the many adaptations birds have made to better survive in the environment. These will include migration, hibernation and instinct.

Water Water Everywhere: Our body is made of mostly water. It also makes up a great amount of Earth itself. We will dive into the water cycle and where all this water can be found. How much is really drinkable?

Animal Adaptations: Students will use an animal part of body covering to prepare a list of the adaptations which make that animal a survivor. They will then report to the class and we will discuss it together.
