SHELTER RESERVATION
The Haybarn Shelter is a popular site to hold outdoor weddings and receptions, family reunions, graduation parties, birthday parties and company gatherings.
Rental Cost: $40.00 per day (6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.)
Alcohol Policy: Alcohol is permitted however, a keg permit is required for containers over one (1) quart in size. The following fee schedule (deposit) applies:
$100.00 Minimum
$50.00 each keg (or container larger than 1 qt) over two
Keg permits must be filled out a Minimum of 48 hours prior to the Scheduled event.
Shelter amenities include:
Rural Water on site (one hydrant on west side of shelter)
Approximately 17 picnic tables
Handicap assessable
restrooms (2)
Large charcoal grill
Garbage barrels
(please dispose of your garbage appropriately)
To Reserve: the shelter for your special event, call Wapello County Conservation Board at (641) 682-3091. Rental payment must be made prior to your scheduled event.
