Crime Victim Compensation Program: The program pays for crime-related expenses such as medical care, counseling, lost wages, and funeral expenses (when costs are not covered by insurance or other sources).  The program can also pay for crime-scene clean-up, replacement of clothing held as evidence, replacement of security items, child or dependent care, housing/shelter expenses, relocation expenses and travel. Victim Information and Notification Service (VINE): You can sign up to be notified automatically when a Defendant has been released from the Wapello County Jail or an Iowa Prison by calling Iowa VINE at 1-888-742-8463 or online at vinelink.com.

Court Records: If you would like to complete a public search regarding this case you can log into Iowa Courts Online Choose: “Trial Court Case Search” and enter the name of the Defendant to see what has been filed with the court; this will allow you to track what is happening at your leisure.
