Key Responsibilities

Assist customers in person, by telephone, and by email in a professional and helpful manner.

Receive, review, record, scan, index, and retrieve documents in accordance with established procedures.

Process applications, requests, payments, receipts, and daily transactions accurately.

Maintain organized paper and electronic records while protecting confidential information.
-
Prepare correspondence, reports, copies, certifications, and other office documents.
-
Perform data entry, filing, research, and general administrative duties.
-
Work cooperatively with coworkers, other departments, and the public.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Strong customer service, communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
-
Ability to learn and follow laws, policies, procedures, and records-retention requirements.
-
Proficiency with computers, email, word processing, and data-entry systems.
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy in a busy public office.
-
Prior clerical, records, cash-handling, or government-office experience is preferred.

Position Details
Status: Full-time
Schedule: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
Pay: $22.55 (begins at $21.55 with raises at 45 & 90 days)
