Full-Time Male and Female Correctional Officer
Full-time position available for Male and Female. Duties include transports to and from court hearings, direct supervision of inmates, medical (prescription), booking, photographing, fingerprinting and some computer skills and manage high stress situations.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license and be insurable under county policy. Candidates must be able to work all shifts which includes days, afternoons, evenings and overnights. These shifts include weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Starting wage is $19.07 hourly increasing July 1st to:
0-2 years of experience: $21.00
2-5 years of experience: $21.50
5-10 years of experience: $22.00
10+ years of experience: $22.50
On July 1st, 2024 and July 1, 2025 there will be a 5% wage increase. Also each year a 3.5% step adjustment on employee's anniversary date.
