The Wapello County Auditor's Office will be closing early Monday, June 30, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. and on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 will be closed from 9:15 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. for training.

For your convenience, the Recorder's Office has digitalized index books for land and lot transactions between 1859 and 1987. Separate books can be found for Grantors and Grantees, and each index contains the book and page number where the original record can be found.
